In what is being seen by many as a major step towards its Abu Dhabi expansion, Dubai-based telecom operator du on Sunday announced an industry first by bagging naming right to two of the capital’s most popular entertainment venues. In a four-year deal with Flash Entertainment, du announced that it had bagged the naming rights to Abu Dhabi’s Yas Arena, which will be now known as du Arena, and for Flash Forum, now renamed du Forum.
“Du signs four-year deal: Yas Arena and FLASH Forum to be renamed du Arena and du Forum,” tweeted du’s Chief Commercial Officer Farid Faraidooni (@FaridF), live from the press conference at the venue.
“Through this partnership, @dutweets enforces its commitment to support Abu Dhabi as home of live entertainment in the ME,” tweeted Hala Badri (@HalaBadri), du’s Executive Vice-President for Brand and Communications.

The survey was conducted by matrimonial portal Shaadi.com to find out the Bollywood diva who has the qualities of being an ideal mother and if Indians see her fit the role well.
It seems the voters have been impressed by Ash's motherhood. Aishwarya gave birth to Aaradhya in November last year and since then she has dedicated all her time and energy towards the new born. So much so that she has compromised her own fitness and gained unimaginable amount of weight.
But this did not stop her fans to vote for the beautiful lady.
Altogether 54 per cent of the respondents voted for the former Miss World, Karisma Kapoor followed by 27 per cent votes as the ideal mother.
Malaika Arora Khan and Lara Dutta were the other contenders as the ideal celebrity mom in the survey.
Actress Angelina Jolie was voted the top mother from Hollywood with 67 per cent respondents.
The survey further revealed that Indians feel that National Award winning actress Priyanka Chopra would make an ideal mother once she attains motherhood as she got 30 per cent of the votes followed by Kareena Kapoor.
Yesteryear actress Hema Mailini and her daughter Esha Deol were voted the 'Most popular celebrity mother-daughter duo' who make a great pairing and share a bond.

Indeed, the story revealed so far in the trailer broadly reminds us of Saif Ali Khan's recent flop project 'Agent Vinod' among others. In the film, Saif played the role of an Indian agent. Salman seems to be toeing pretty much the same line. Saif was sent on a mission to save the country and eventually avert a war between two nations. 'Tiger' is on a similar mission.
Saif travels extensively while chasing the culprits. Salman is also a globe-trotting spy a la James Bond, and has shot scenes in about 10 different countries.
Saif Ali fell in love with Kareena who was in the enemy camp. Salman Khan does his romantic bit and gets involved with Katrina Kaif who is the professor's caretaker.
Saif was saving India from a terrorist attack by Pakistani agents; 'Ek Tha Tiger' is about intelligence agencies of India and Pakistan and Salman trying to stop a scientist from selling missile technology secrets to Pakistan.
Saif Ali Khan's 'Agent Vinod' was his dream project and lot of hype was created when the first promo was released. It looked promising with the stylish Saif and his sense of humour. But it proved to be a dud at the box office.
Salman Khan fans can only hope that 'Ek Tha Tiger' will not be as disappointing as 'Agent Vinod'.

Rohit Shetty is not willing to wait for Katrina's dates, however, 'Chennai Express', is SRK's home production.
As for Kareena Kapoor, reports suggested that she has opted out of ‘Chennai Express’. Her exit has come as a surprise especially when she was very excited about the subject and also working with Shetty.
Kareena had major issues managing her dates and that is the sole reason of her sudden decision.
The filmmakers are keeping the cards close to their heart and not revealing the name of the actress.

Bollywood fans can go star spotting once again in Dubai as actors Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha zip into the emirate early tomorrow on a promotional tour of their upcoming “Rowdy Rathore”, which releases in UAE cinemas on May 31.
Also joining the duo will be ace choreographer and film director Prabhu Deva.
According to organisers, the trio will be attending a media event earlier in the afternoon before heading out to Ibn Battua Mall for an 8pm meet and greet with the public, near the cinemas.
Jointly produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions, the masala thriller is being touted as Kumar’s return to the action genre after years of sticking to comic roles, his latest being the hit, “Housefull 2”.
Meanwhile, Sinha appears to be ‘excited’ over returning to the big screen after her debut two years ago opposite Salman Khan in “Dabangg”.
Critics are already predicting a bumper run for “Rowdy Rathore”, touting it as the first big summer opener in 2012.
Kumar, who is on a career high after a spate of flops in the recent past, is expected to regain his Bollywood market share as the action star after proving himself as a bankable star in the early 2000s after a string of hits that included “Hera Pheri,” “Dhadkan”, “Waqt”, “Mujhse Shaadi Karoge”, among others.

His market share, post “Housefull 2”, was been cemented further when after being dropped by soft drink company “Thumbs Up” as its brand ambassador, unconfirmed reports soon followed that Coca Cola was keen to sign Kumar again.
This was followed up with reports that Kumar has bagged a pay package of nearly Rs100 million per annum, for five years, for being the brand ambassador of a popular motorcycle brand.
While the box office fate of Kumar’s fan following will only be deteremined post release of “Rowdy Rathore”, the media is already reporting that the actor’s brand value alone was enough for the makers to recover half of the film’s production cost, by selling its satellite rights for Rs350m.
